This beautiful hand blown deep red art glass is from the 1960's.
Called a 'Jack in the Pulpit' or 'Bone' vase. Made by the Swedish company Aseda Glasbruk. These vases can be seen in the book "Scandinavian Glass - Fire & Sea".
Named for the flower its shape resembles, this cased glass vase has beautiful curved lines and uniform, control bubbles in its base and is a deep, ruby red. No nicks, chips, cracks or damage of any kind.
An outstanding piece of collectors art glass.
It is 6 in. tall and is 2.5 in diameter at its base. Made of thick glass, it weighs 12 oz.
