Beautifully detailed stone carving of a mother elephant with baby elephant inside. The mother and baby are carved from one piece of stone. The baby elephant can be seen through the open carvings on the sides of the mother's body.
Hand made in India with fine detail out of Gorara stone, which is often called "India soapstone".
The upturned trunk is considered good luck. This would make a great gift for an expectant mother.
